Senior Teams
Mens
1st XI
The 1st XI play in the Liverpool District Cricket Competition 1st division, having won promotion from the 2nd division in 2023. They play home games at our main ground at Hall Lane. In 2026, they will be captained by Macauley Lawrenson, who was elected captain before the season. This is his first year in the role.
2nd XI
The 2nd XI play in the Liverpool District Cricket Competition 2nd XI 1st Division, having won promotion from the 2nd division in 2025. They play home games at our main ground at Hall Lane. In 2026, they will be captained by Joe Cunningham, who was elected captain before the season. This is his first year in the role.
3rd XI
The 3rd XI play in the Liverpool District Cricket Competition 3rd XI 1st Division. They play their home matches at The Old Hospital Ground, which they share with Moss Side Cricket Club. In 2026, they will be captained by Gareth Lloyd, who has led the team since 2022.
4th XI
The 4th XI play in the Liverpool District Cricket Competition Sunday 3rd XI 2nd Division. They usually play their home matches at our main ground at Hall Lane, but do occasionally play at Moss Side CC. In 2026, they will be captained by Neil Dutton, who has led the team since 2022.
Ladies
There are two Ladies sides at Maghull.
1st XI
The Ladies 1st XI play in the Liverpool Competition Women & Girls League - Women's Hardball Super 8s League Division 2. They play home games at our main ground at Hall Lane, with home matches usually taking place on Sunday mornings.
Softball
There is also a Softball side that plays in the Liverpool Competition Women & Girls League - Women's Softball Super 8s League Division 2. In 2026, both sides will be captained by Debbie Bowden.
