In our latest Centenary Event, Maghull CC celebrated our former players on Saturday
On a day that began with a photo session capturing current Maghull players, the focus quickly turned to the past. Saturday saw the club host a Former Players Celebration Day, welcoming back past stalwarts from days gone by.
There were plenty of familiar faces on show, who enjoyed not only the fine weather, but also another win for the 1st XI, who kept their unbeaten run going with victory over Colwyn Bay.
After the game, Club President Mike Hagan welcomed the old-school Maggy contingent before cutting a cake to mark 100 years of Maghull Cricket Club.
