The former 2nd XI Captain hit two 50s this past week
Jamie Breakwell has been named Club Player of the Week. The former 2nd XI captain hit not one, but two aggressive half-centuries over the last seven days, a welcome return to form after a slow start to 2026.
On Saturday, Jamie top-scored for the 2nd XI with 78 from 82 balls in the side’s win over Spring View. Not content with this, he added an unbeaten 78 from 60 in the T20 loss to Birkenhead Park.
Maghull Director of Cricket, Paul McKenna, decides on the weekly award winner. He named Jamie the winner after his deeds this past week.
2nd XI captain Joe Cunningham said, “Jamie has been back to his best over the last week. Long may it continue!”
Great to see you back in the runs, Jamie!
