Recognition of excellent work and dedication to Maghull in 2026 and beyond.
Capping off a memorable centenary season for Maghull Cricket Club, three of our volunteers have been shortlisted as finalists in the Kia Pride of Cricket Awards, in association with The Cricketer Magazine.
Director of Cricket Paul McKenna has been nominated in the Club Hero category. Paul has played an active role in organising and coordinating cricket across the club. He has worked closely with captains and coaches to help ensure everything runs smoothly.
Meanwhile, Dynamos Lead Activator Karen Forrest has earned a nomination in the Media Hero category. Karen has been the driving force behind our first-ever Dynamos Section. Throughout the season, she has helped the section grow substantially.
Club Junior Coordinator Liam Gibbons is up for Community Hero. His nomination recognises his work organising all aspects of junior cricket at Maghull CC.
All three finalists richly deserve their nominations. Now, let’s do everything we can to help them bring home their awards!
